Welcome to my web page! I am happy to share with you what a new experience
coming into fourth grade will bring. I started teaching back in 2000 in second grade in Des Moines before coming to
Ballard. I taught first grade at Ballard West for 7 years before coming to Ballard East in 2008.
I graduated
from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a BS degree in Elementary Education in 1998. I decided to continue
my education at Viterbo University of LaCrosse, Wisconsin by getting a Masters in Education in 2005. Once
again, I wanted to further my education so I continued on at Viterbo University and recieved a Master's
in Administration in 2009.
I live in Huxley with my husband,my two sons, Kai age 11 and Kade age 7. We
have two dogs. Our black lab is Bear and our Shih-Tzu is Charlie. My favorite hobbies are reading,
playing with my children, watching my children in their sports, going for motorcycle rides, coaching softball, and
practicing kickboxing.
